About us
We are the leading company in the field of the supervision of investments with regard to newly-built buildings and the maintenance of railway infrastructure facilities.
We have a great deal of experience in the field of engineering services in connection with investments into low and high constructions.
As NoBo and DeBo we provide (EC) conformity assessment and certification of the subsystem Infrastructure in accordance with Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) and/or national rules. As DeBo we provide conformity assessment and certification of the subsystem Control-Command and Signalling Trackside (CCT).
More than 50 years of experience, the excellent qualifications of the people employed in the company and an introduced quality management system according to ISO 9001 enable us to offer our clients full services in the field of engineering in construction, audit of project documentation and the implementation of quality control and the amount of work carried out.
History
The origins of our company date back to 1956 when an investment group was founded for the implementation of investment-engineering services in the construction of roads in the Republic of Slovenia, which was our main activity until 1963.
After 1963, we expanded the range of our services to the construction and reconstruction of a variety of facilities of different complexities for different investors in the field of low and high buildings, and in particular to meet the needs of the Slovenian Railways, then JŽ TSG (Yugoslav railways, combined rail and transport company) Ljubljana, which is still a registered activity of the company. In 1966, the company was first registered as an independent legal entity.
DIS Consulting, Družba za svetovanje, pripravo in izvajanje investicij, d.o.o. became a limited liability company after the ownership transformation in 1997, and passed into private ownership.
In October 2023 the company name changed to DIS RAIL, d.o.o.
